Art Gallery
This is the exhibition of beautiful paintings which are masterpieces of famous artists of Thailand. Thaweesin Savings Lottery is displayed from the first series to the present. The format of the lottery at the beginning will be pictures about agriculture and ways of life in Thailand. In addition, BAAC has brought pictures of leading artists's works such as Chalermchai Kositpipat, Professor Preecha Thaothong and Ajarn Panya Vijinthanasarn Associate Professor Suwat Sankhatiyarat to be printed on the lottery. There is a section for displaying sacred objects that hold the minds of the BAAC people, namely Phra Nirantrai, which is The Buddha statue at the BAAC office. Phra Phuttakaset Raksa is the Buddha statue at the headquarters of Bang Khen Building.
Commemorate Room
This is a tracing back to the past with the exhibition of office equipments from the first day of operation to present including sovenirs given to clients on special occasions They are valuable memories of BAAC. There is also a simulation of an early branch work atmosphere indicating different work conditions from other banks.
Hall of Fame
This is the learning of how BAAC intensively adopted the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy to its operation, bank officers and clients. BAAC encouraged its officers to behave as good examples and conducted many projects to support clients to lead their daily lives on the path of sufficiency. Because of immense efforts put to those projects and activities, BAAC was awarded the first prize and His Majesty King Bhumibhol Adulyadej trophy in the centralized governmental organization category from the Second Competition of Best Achievement Based on Sufficiency Economy Concept organized by the Office of the Royal Development Project Board (RDPB).
The Pace of BAAC’s Development Room
Since the first year of BAAC’s establishment, there were many important incidents happened to the bank. These incidents were good reminders for BAAC officers of the later generation to learn from them. Apart from the inside incidents, there were also incidents outside the bank concerning the economy and social conditions affecting BAAC’s development. All these incidents were compiled and presented to reflect the state of being of Thai society and BAAC’s roles at each timeline. Indepth information of the incidents in BAAC’s encyclopedia are also presented for better understanding of BAAC’s operations.
Affection Relation and Pride Room
The 4Ds movies presents about a young new business development officer from the south who has to go to work in the north-eastern region. The affection and relations between him and the villagers gradually developed unconsciously, together with BAAC’s brotherhood atmosphere are key factors for him in making the most important decision in his life.
BAAC’s Foundation Room
This is the presentation about Archan Chamnien Saranaga, the first president of BAAC. He was recognized as the “Father of Thai Agricultural Credit”. Apart from his high commitment to his duty, he also performed an important role as the creator of BAAC’s foundation. BAAC has been stable and sustainable until today. originated from your pioneering devotee to improve the quality of life of Thai farmers With supervised credit innovation, which is considered an innovation or the core of the BAAC and is the core competency of the organization today.
The Birth of BAAC Room
This is the presentation of BAAC’s establishment via VCD presentation. It is about various conditions and obstacles faced by Thai farmers. The lack of fund problem made the farmers borrow money from local money lenders at unfair interest rate. Furthermore, famers also face with low agricultural product prices. In order to get rid of these problems, the Thai government established BAAC on November 1, 1966. BAAC’s main mission is the provisioning of loan to farmers and the up-lifting of farmer’standard of life. This mission is the resolution adhered by BAAC.
Reception Hall
Information service point and registration along with watching a video introducing the history of the museum and showcasing models of Thai agricultural ways in 5 regions - This is the presentation of the typical Thai ways of agricultural practices of the five regions of Thailand-northern region, central region, eastern region, north-eastern region, and southern region. Each region has different agricultural practices because of the differences in terrain, natural resources, languages, and culture. Therefore, BAAC officers must know and understand the social conditions and culture of each area so that they can efficiently work with the bank’s clients
Introduction of BAAC Museum
BAAC museum is a specific-purpose museum. It presents the history and the development of BAAC’s operation from the past to present. BAAC, a special financial institution under the control of the Ministry of Finance, has performed the function of providing loan to farmers and farmer’s institutions nationwide. The outstanding features in designing this museum is the presentation of Thai agricultural sector. Therefore, the color tone of the Reception Hall is in green and the back wall is decorated in paddy shape reflecting the cereal nourishing Thai society from the past to present.
